Beware of the roads

点评：Location is definitely off the beaten path, which is nice, but they really should have a warning about the roads in and out of here. They are very steep, narrow, and winding. We had to use 4 wheel drive to get out of the canyon on our way out. This can be challenging with an RV. The roads in the resort are much the same. We stayed at lake level which proved interesting getting down there and back out. The RV spaces on that level are very close together, so if you are looking for privacy this is not the place for you. There is no grass, only very hot rocks and pavement which was also hard with walking our dogs. The dog park, which is at the very top of the hill, was closed when we were there. It was also all dirt and weeds. Access to lake for swimming or non motorized activities is all off of a dock using a ladder unless you want to walk off of the boat ramp (which you guessed it, is also very steep). There is a “leisure dock” but the access to it is sketchy so we didn’t go check that out. It is a nice place but cannot say that we would be back here.
