Lawson's Original Yucatan Excursions的点评
点评：I don’t know that I have enough good things to say about Ralf, Daniel, and Lawson’s that can get my point across as to how wonderful they are! Ralf and I emailed about 50+ times, and he answered every question I ever had - so before we even arrived in Progreso, I felt well cared for and like we were just meeting an old friend! We came in on a cruise so did (unfortunately!) have quick visit, but Ralf created a perfect day and Daniel made sure we fit everything in with a few stops along the way.
Everything about our day was perfect -
Daniel was an incredible guide with so much knowledge, but also so friendly it felt like we had known him for years. One noticeable thing is that at every stop, from small local villages to the ticket takers and other guides at Uxmal - everyone and I mean *everyone* was happy to see Daniel. To me, that speaks volumes of the relationships they’ve built within these communities so that they can take people there to really experience the Yucatan and all of its people and places. Throughout the day stopped at a small local market in Uman, a hacienda and tortilleria in another small village, toured Uxmal and the Choco Museum, and ate the most wonderful lunch. While you may be able to book tours to Uxmal, I can guarantee that no other tour company takes the time and effort like Lawsons does to truly help you see, understand, and appreciate the rich history, culture, and beauty that’s found in the Yucatan. While our time was limited, we never felt rushed or on a time crunch. In fact, we made it back early and even had time for an extra stop!
I also cannot speak enough to feeling safe the entire day. I know at times, coming off a cruise ship that people may feel unsure or unsafe booking anywhere but directly through the cruise line. While I’m sure those excursions are fine, you absolutely won’t regret branching out and booking with Lawsons instead. I cannot wait to go back to the area to spend more time, and to see and learn more with Lawsons. Thank you Ralf and Daniel for a day we will not forget!
