Museum of Appenzell Traditions的点评
点评：This was one of our BEST experiences in Appenzell! I had tried to learn about this region before going on the trip, but there's so little information available online or in travel books. I'm so glad we went to this museum, because I learned sooo much about Appenzell and the traditions of the region that I never would have been able to find out otherwise. We were able to visit the museum for free with our Appenzell Card. The first thing we did was watch a video in English that showed some of the cultural traditions. You absolutely must watch the video because the museum makes so much more sense when you have that context. Then we were able to see traditional costumes and objects related to the things we saw in the videos. The museum is very interactive; you can try on the cowbells and try out the musical instruments upstairs. We had heard some traditional music at an event not long before we went to the museum, so it was so awesome to be able to try out the instruments for ourselves. So, not only did we learn a ton from this museum, but we loved the hands-on nature of it. The exhibits have QR codes that take you to videos in English, and there's free wifi that you can use to watch the videos. Given that this museum is basically in a house in a small town, I was not expecting it to be so amazing. I would absolutely recommend going here if you are staying in the Appenzell area and are interested in learning about the local culture, history, and traditions.
