A Lovely and Memorable Visit with Santa at Apple Land Station

点评：We had the best time at Apple Land Station. After taking a ride on their train through the property, we arrived at Santa's cabin. There was a campfire there where we could sit and warm up while we waited our turn. Santa and his elf were AMAZING. My two grandsons (4 and 7) are autistic and doing something like meeting Santa can be a little difficult for them. But Santa and his elf were kind and gentle and had tons of patience with them.
We also had my 10 month old granddaughter with us. They set up a special backdrop for her pictures saying "Baby's First Christmas". She was afraid of Santa and cried, but he and his elf were so patient and kind with all 3 kids. They knew just how to respond and how to get those treasured Santa pictures without traumatizing the kids.
We usually make appointments at one of the malls for "quiet time" Santa visits but they were all booked up. And at times we have gone on the Port Stanley Santa train ride but it's a little bit long for their patience levels. This train ride was just the right length for them to have some fun without getting overwhelmed by the length of it. And I can't imagine a more understanding Santa and elf anywhere.
After we were finished with that part of it, we walked through their little store. There were freshly baked goodies, hot apple cider, gourmet gifts, and so many more unique offerings perfect for gift-giving (yes we bought some to try out ourselves over the holidays!). It was quaint and charming and just really brought out the Christmas spirit for us. I can't recommend it highly enough. We'll definitely be going back!
