A disappointment of a Sunday Dinner

点评：I visited here yesterday for Sunday Dinner with my mum & auntie. We'd visited previously a few times during the week & the meals have always been of a good standard. We were told we needed to book in advance for a Sunday on 1 of these occasions, which we did.
Unfortunately, the high standard we were expecting was not what we got. All 3 meals were cold when served & had to be sent back to be reheated, two of them went back twice. The Yorkshire puddings on 2 meals were burnt to a blackened mess & instantly put us off the meals. The staff were very pleasant & and apologised, but the standard the food was served at was not what anyone would expect it to be sent out to paying customers. The pudding was of a better standard, but not as described in my opinion. It was a meringue nest with fresh fruit & ice cream. When it was served, it was presented more as Eton mess. It was a meringue nest covered with black currants, black berries & a berry sauce, with half a fresh strawberry on top, whipped cream sprayed on it & a teaspoon of ice cream underneath. I think these fruits aren't in season & certainly didn't taste freshly picked. Not at all what I had pictured in my mind given the description.
My Auntie also asked for a small portion, which she was given, but we were charged the full price for all 3 meals despite this & having to send the food back. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our meals & wanted to share this experience with others.
