Great Open Day with Bus Rides
Hooton Park Trust的点评
点评：We visited Hooton Park on their open day in August 2024 where there were a number of buses, both resident and visiting giving rides out to various places of interest. There was a useful little programme giving all the information needed as well as a number of stalls selling various thing, buses, models etc to look at as well as the usual aircraft museum and bunker tours. The location here is very interesting, being a number of WW1 hangers. All the volunteers were very friendly and helpful and the bus rides were all free, we went to Parkgate and Port Sunlight, both pleasant locations on The Wirral. There was also a shuttle linking to Hooton Station on the Merseyrail which was really useful to get there and back.
We would certainly return here as it was a very interesting day.
