点评：Is it a must? NO! There are some other beaches in the area that are much easier to access but what they don't have is the seals, the size, the church - the entire area as a whole is a very tranquil experience, to be perfectly honest after 2nd 10-day trip in Iceland, first in 2022, and now second in 2022, a total of 20 days I must say being here once we parked the car, it was the most serene experience of all places we hit around this amazing country.
The drive here isn't as challenging as people say, not to say that it is super easy - what is a big unusual is the hairpin turns towards the last part - that's where you go uphill/downhill and you just want to be smart and look out for other cars not to limit yourself, I wouldn't really want to do it in the winter time but in August/Summer it was perfectly fine, just be nice to oncoming traffic and exercise caution - otherwise it's a gravel road like any other in Iceland, meaning doable in any car.
