点评：Called in for brisk en - route lunch driving back from the east coast. Car park & whole place busy I supposed due to holiday season . The large light and airy eating area had a variety of customers; BCBG retired couples , special needs people , Little Darlings with mothers and grandparents. The large glass area gave view to the pleasing garden area outside where there were extra shielded tables - handy for dog owners. I just ordered a coffee , tea and an egg sandwhich. Suspect that the kitchen was at full stretch with it being so busy. Plate arrived with crisps , which I personally really dislike , but a decent bit of salad. Sadly , the bread was just average budget supermarket stuff. And the coffee was the same - the sort you might get in a car showroom. To me this is just penny - pinching.
Looking in the display cabinet at the sweets I would say that only about 25% were properly "home made on the premises" - which is fine as they were priced accordingly. Walking through the food / gift shop area to and from the cafe , it seemed that the owners are so keen to cram every square foot of space with goods that one almost has to sidle past other people sideways to navigate around everything ! Lord knows how parents with buggies get through.
