点评：First visit back here since I brought my then 8 year old son twenty five or so years ago to learn more about sailing with the RWYC cadets. This time the lake seemed different with much lower water and no sign of dinghies or other water sports. Today we walked the dog for quite a while but weren’t up to the full circuit which is apparently 3.2 miles. Pleased to make about a third and then back and then have tea and cake at a table outside the cafe. All very restful. This is a friendly place but strict rules about dogs and parking. We weren’t sure about what rules applied to which car park. We first found a space in an area behind the cafe only to discover that it was monitored by ANPR and that you needed a special consent for there and had to phone the company if we didn’t have it and to avoid a fine. Eventually we found another more conventional area where it was £2.50 for two hours and a fiver for all day and we could pay by app.
