We had an absolutely brilliant experience with Want to Canoe and would highly recommend them.
We completed the half day trip as a family of three, and from start to finish everything was really well organised. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and gave a clear safety briefing, making us feel confident before setting off.
The route itself was beautiful – peaceful in places, with just enough small rapids to make it fun without being intimidating. The scenery along the River Wye was stunning, and it was a fantastic way to spend a few hours outdoors.
The shuttle service back to the start was seamless, and all the equipment provided was in excellent condition.
This ended up being one of the highlights of our holiday in the Brecon Beacons. If you’re considering canoeing on the Wye, don’t hesitate to book with Want to Canoe!
