Such a shame that this place has gone to the dogs

点评：Such a shame. This pub was run into the ground by the former landlord who was famously the longest serving land Lord in our local town who dedicated 30 years to the place without decorating it . I appreciate that he had lost motivation etc and did nothing to improve the tired space . It was always however clean and tidy whilst Garth and Sue were there before they retired. Then there was a succession of managers who ran an already poor place into the ground and took it to what I thought was rock bottom. Then this new Landlady Carol arrived. The pub has had a much needed revamp done a. It on the cheap but looks much better. The toilets however leave alot to be desired. The stench is enough to make an average persons eyes water. To top it off the new Land Lady ( I ise this term very loosely) is great a cleaning and apparently a bit of a chef. She should never ever however be allowed to talk directly with her customers. It’s not exactly a busy place yet she is so rude and inflexible that she is on effect turning customers away. The place will no doub be empty until she employs someone better at front of house. My biggest issue it that sadly her q mannner stinks. The toilets stink and the FM company continues to resize the costs
