点评：We had a tour booked with Dave's Boat Tours. At the time of booking, I mentioned I had a 'bad' back and they said I would be able to sit in the Captain's seat.
The day we went for the tour, the captain said the weather was rough and he would prefer if I booked another day (two days later) when the seas would be calmer which would be better for my back. We had time and agreed on the later tour.
The day of the tour was perfect - well, the temperature was ok and the winds were down, but no sunshine. That didn't really matter much because I would have a smooth ride without damaging my back.
The tour itself was awesome! Dave is so knowledgeable since he was born and raised in the area. He is funny and very caring.
We saw many icebergs with Dave providing facts about them and answers to our questions. We saw two bald eagles and their aerie. Dave pulled up one of his lobster traps to see if there would be a crab or fish in it so he could give it to the eagles. They were out of luck.
We then went to the harbour where Dave was born and raised. He had stories to tell of his family, neighbours and what it was like growing up there. Great personal touches for the day.
It was a superb tour and we would recommend Dave's Boat Tours to anyone wanting an up close and personal adventure with icebergs.
