A bit of hike but worth it!

点评：This is quite hard to find from carpark the National Trust suggest using since there are no signs or maps telling you where it is. Take a good map and probably a smartphone for GPS and you will get there! It was a two and quarter mile walk from the carpark but you can park nearer! If you head towards Rochester and Cobham Parlk Golf Club there is roadside parking where the road goes under the railway, and just after this bridge is where you head through the woods to find the mausoleum. This will save you about 1 mile of walking in each direction, and the parking charge!
The mausoleum itself is only open a few days of the year to check the National Trust website for when this is due to happen. The structure was never used for burials and was in very poor condition before it was restored. The building now a very elegant monument that justifies the hike. Admission was free.
