A fascinating visit to the Lanas del Rio woolen mill

点评：My wife and I were very kindly invited and warmly welcomed to visit Paul and Dawn's weaving mill set on the Genal river only a few miles to the south of Gaucin, where we were staying. We had earlier visited their lovely little studio shop in Gaucin, packed with superb quality woolen products, all produced at their mill.
The mill itself, Molinero Taponero, is a tad off the beaten track as it were, but it is well worth a visit, located in a beautiful setting close to the Genal river. Paul gave us a full guided tour of their facility, explaining in detail what all the various machinery did and how it all worked, including the incredible Victorian era weaving loom. It was fascinating. They also have another studio shop on site, where they have even more of their beautifully woven products on display.
We were incredibly impressed not only by the quality of their products, but also what they had achieved at this beautifully restored old mill.
