Love the adobe sunshades!
Storrie Lake State Park的点评
点评：Stayed on the south loop, everyone has water and some have electric. Spaces are generously sized. The even numbered sites on that loop get more shade from the trees. However, everybody has an adobe sunshade on the south loop. Very charming and authentic! Everyone has a great view of the lake.
The first come first served spots close to the Lakeshore are appealing, that would require Boondocking, but plenty of elbow room and great access to the lake.
The comfort stations were clean. Two showers, three toilets. I saw staff cleaning every day. Trash was picked up every morning by staff at around 8 AM. No loud trash trucks, just a guy in a very slow moving and quiet. pick up truck. The visitor center was never open, but it is after Labor Day and the campground is only. half occupied.
The only negatives are that the asphalt is degrading in certain spots and on the boat campground side there are deep rain gullies. Also, there’s no cleaning between stays in the campsites. Trash in the fire pit, including partially burned aluminum cans. I removed the decaying remnants of a rodent and a bird from the floor of the adobe sunshade and around the site I picked up several cigarette butts, bottle caps - some of which were very rusty so there for a long time.
Those negatives that I listed won’t stop me from visiting here again!
