Ambience: 4/5 - recently renovated so much cleaner vibe, definitely worth to visit. Sometimes there are busker going around singing, so can enjoy some music.
Service: 5/5 - super friendly and helpful. All the vendors know each other and will provide recommendations as to what to eat and buy
Location: 2 hour drive from Lagoi resorts. Recommend to go here if staying at Tanjong Pinang or arrange a full day trip to Tanjong Pinang with shopping etc
Been here twice. Once in July with my husband and second time in October with friends. The variety is a lot and once you are here, be sure to try the Ice Chendol and goreng pisang keju. The satay at this night market is also delicious! Their grilled sotong also just right with the smokey BBQ taste. They also have vendors that cook great kway tiow and stir fried bihun which we tried from different stalls and both equally delicious.
Guarantee you can’t find other places goreng pisang keju as nice as here, it was so good we directly ordered two plates! The ice chendol is also only unique to this night market.
Would recommend when you are in Tanjung Pinang, be sure to stop by here.
Tip: go around 8pm for more seatings as it is quite full around 6pm onwards
There is also another night market at Tepi Laouk but variety not as much as here.
