We rented a boat for 7 days. Went to visit with them several days in advance. Come three days later to pickup the boat. They wanted to put a $5,000.00 hold on my credit card in addition to the &3,500.00 they were charging me for the boat. None of this had been mentioned during my first visit.
We took the boat out twice four hours each of the two days.
On the third day of rental my wife decided she did not want to go out in the boat again. I asked them to cancel and refund the remainder of the rental. Everyone said “NO” all the way up to the manager who was not on site.
Then I said let me pay my bill.
WOW THERE WERE SO MANY HIDDEN CHARGED THAT HAD NOT BEEN DISCLOSED AT THE FIRST VISIT. I was floored but they had me by the short hairs.
Bottom line
I paid $2,000.00 a day for two days of using the boat!!!!!!
