点评:First I’ll qualify this by saying we were brought here as part of a 4 day tour - as a visit to a “coffee plantation” and that was something I was very much looking forward to - seeing coffee production in situ. I was expecting it to be similar to visiting one of the rice terraces.
The entire experience was around 30-45 minutes long. A walk through some trees growing coffee and cacao pods, watching and having a photo op with a lady roasting beans, a caged luwak and a coffee / tea sampling session. (Sampling kopi luwak coffee can only be done for an additional fee)
It seems the point of the entire place is to drive retail sales in the shop.
I was further disappointed when I arrived home in the UK to discover the lemongrass tea and mangosteen peel tea we had bought were “instant” highly factory processed tea powders, and not natural peel / bark blends as you might imagine.
The staff were friendly and helpful but the experience and merchandise were disappointing.
