点评:I went with a score of my friends to do a hike at this park. We had to pass through some local neighborhoods before we managed to find the trailhead. It would probably take a person around ten (10) minutes to arrive at our meeting spot from Interstate-287. It was not easy to find a parking spot, and there were signs that prohibited a person to parallel park his/her car on the street by the trailhead. I really enjoyed our hike, and it consisted of more than six (6) miles. The fall foliage was gorgeous in the middle of October, and I also enjoyed the views of the mountains and of the skyline of Manhattan. We did see some rodents and a few birds, but we did not see any bigger animals. It would be wise to bring water and food, and I even would recommend that a person should wear sunscreen during the fall. It was not very buggy in the middle of October, and the temperatures varied greatly from cold to warm during the six (6) hours that we were hiking. The trail did have some very steep inclines and declines, and it was quite rocky, so it would be smart to wear the appropriate footwear. I did pull my left kneecap, and I slightly sprained my left ankle, but I truly enjoyed this experience.
