Nice view but the paid parking is a bit ridiculous

点评：Located just outside of Leura this viewpoint showcases a panoramic view of the blue mountains, as well as the very back of the 3 sisters.
The obvious comparison that takes place here is whether or not this is a viable alternative to the crowded echo point of Katoomba.
I would say no. Firstly, although you can see the three sisters, they are far away and the views are much better from echo point. Secondly, and rather frustratingly, they have in more recent times introduced paid parking at a rate of $3 per 15 minutes. This also has to be paid through an app you need to download onto your phone. You’ll probably need half an hour just for a quick stop here so it really isn’t a place you can linger because of this. I believe some cars have parked up the road to avoid the toll.
I found this cash grab to be quite unnecessary and a bit cheeky.
