Great, small venue!

点评：The Center reminds me a bit of NYC theaters, small but with a great vibe. Seating is divided between floor seats (folding chairs with padded seats) and softer, cushier seats on a bit of a rise behind. We chose floor seats as the back row here can accommodate a wheelchair. We found the seats comfortable for a 1.5 to 2-hour performance and enjoyed feeling like we were close to the performance even though we were in the furthest row from the stage in the floor seat area. Staff here are very helpful, asking if you'd like to transfer to a chair or stay in your wheelchair. There are lots of these helpers who do a great job. There's a pleasantly sized lobby area with big bouquets of faux floral arrangements and comfy seating nooks. There's a closet-sized bar, where two bartenders make short work of drink orders, thoughtfully providing caps for the plastic cups of wine, beer, etc. Prices are reasonable. Folks line up early and that can cause a bit of a jam near the bar area, but as I noted, with a simple bar menu and efficient staff, it moves right along. Inside the theatre there's really no place to put your drink except on the floor (not sure about the elevated seat area), so something to consider. If you get there at doors opening time (about half an hour before show time) you'll have plenty of time to enjoy your drink in the grand-hotel like lobby. Acoustics and theater standards are first-rate with a nice, big sound and coordinated light show for many musical performances. Performers stay after for photo-ops in front of a photo screen and to talk to attendees and, of course, sell the ubiquitous tee shirts! Still, it's a nice touch and we enjoyed meeting the artists. With plenty of parking, a friendly and well-informed staff, and ease of getting to this venue, top marks all around!
