点评:Well, what can I say? I visited the beautiful house last summer. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and I took plenty of photos, both inside and out—with the guide’s permission.
Last week, I posted them on Facebook in 17 groups. I always get great feedback on my photos and the historical information I find online.
Yesterday, however, the lady who lives in the house commented on my photos, saying I wasn’t allowed to take pictures inside or publish them, claiming it was an invasion of their privacy. This surprised me, as the National Trust website clearly states that photography inside is allowed if the staff agrees (which they did!), and sharing photos on social media for non-commercial use is also permitted.
So yes, I’m really disappointed. I deleted them from Facebook (though I still have them on my PC 😉).
Aside from this, it really is a fantastic place to visit!
