Twisted Rail Brewing Co的点评
点评：Located on the edge of a park with views of Lake Canandaigua, Twisted Rail had it all with scenery, great beer, food and atmosphere. We loved their beer starting with a flight of a fantastic Lake To Lake, an American Lager, a nice Vanilla Porter and the Headless Norseman, a Pumpkin beer that was excellent and we were surprised to see it still available as late as March 31. The 4th beer, a Farmhouse Ale was good, but the Headless Norseman stole the show, and we settled in on that for the evening, knowing it will be September before we see Pumpkin beers going forward.
They had a surprising large menu, and my wife liked her flatbread with bacon, onion and green pepper with a nice crust. They had my favorite, Beef on Weck, but I had just had one for lunch in Naples, NY driving up, so I went with the Armstrong wrap that was great with grilled chicken, apples, Feta cheese, herb mayo, lettuce and pecans.
The day way nice, but by the evening it turned a little chilly and windy, so we sat in a cool little room inside in front of a beautiful colonial mantled fireplace. The inside atmosphere is wonderful, and they have an outside lakeview deck as well as an upstairs. The woman behind the bar was wonderful with a nice friendly demeaner. It was nice to see that they are open 7 days a week with a full kitchen since many breweries aren't and don't. We look forward to a return visit the next time we are in the
area.
