The Bear Inn的点评
点评：I’ve been visiting The Bear Inn for over 20 years, so it genuinely disappoints me to write this review.
On several recent visits, I have overheard a staff member named Fran speaking to customers in a way that felt rude, dismissive, and unwelcoming. Good customer service goes a long way, especially in a village pub, and unfortunately the way some customers were spoken to was quite the opposite of what you’d expect from a friendly local.
A pub like this should feel welcoming and community focused, with staff making an effort to get along with customers rather than pushing them away. Sadly, that hasn’t been the case, and it’s hard not to notice that people are choosing to go elsewhere particularly across the road to The Fox and Coney, where the atmosphere and service are noticeably better.
I’ve always had a lot of affection for The Bear Inn and hope this feedback is taken constructively, as it would be a shame to see a long standing local pub continue to decline due to poor customer service.
