点评:Let's start by saying that Chris McCausland and support act Jon Long were both absolutely brilliant.
Now the venue....
Clearly showing it was built in the 1970s the parking is limited. We arrived about 7.15pm for an 8pm start and were lucky to be directed to park on the grass.
Queue for drinks at the bar were about normal for similar venues, but on the plus side not too extortionately priced.
Seats were very narrow and uncomfortable. Two larger ladies were sat to the right of my husband and they'd actually paid for three tickets just to have ( nearly!!!) enough space.
It was way too hot inside the auditorium, everyone around us was trying to cool down in some way. Dread to think what it must be like in warmer weather!
Queued in the car to leave, which is not unusual at venues, but shocked by some people cut through the forecourt of the fuel station - not that they did it so much as the speed they did it at.
