The door management staff all but ruined the show!

点评：We went to watch the 4pm show for Chris McCausland. Our seats were DD1 and DD2, which were right next to the main doors. The team managing this area were absolutely terrible, they were constantly to-ing and fro-ing to the side of us.. which was incredibly distracting. They also didnt close the door to the auditorium, which meant we could still hear what was going on outside - people chatting, music occasionally and the security team kept wandering in / out. About 5 mins before the end of Chris's set - they opened all the doors - which meant the music was even louder and we could hear everything coming from the entrance hall. At one point they also brought in posters and set those up in the walkway inside the auditorium and the exit.
The venue also seemed completely incapable of keeping the theatre at an ambient temperature. We dont think the air con was on when we arrived, and by the end of Chris's set - even he noted how uncomfortably hot it was.
Chris was BRILLIANT and a total professional even though he looked like he was melting! However these things combined were extremely frustrating and I wont be coming back to this venue. Awful.
