Chateau Ambe Tour Pourret的点评
点评：A pretty little Château as far as Château's go with great views over the vineyards. The buildings for fermentation, storage and tasting rooms are neatly arranged around a small courtyard. Although the Château Amb Tour Pourret does not look impressive from the main road to St. Emilion, it is quite pretty around the courtyard. Here ends the nice part. This Chateau exemplifies that 80% of Bordeaux wine is rubbish and not only worth drinking but also overpriced.
We tasted a Crémant first which was made with a blend of Semillon and Muscat grapes but the guide could not tell us the cépage or the dosage! Not worth the money.
The 2019 red was 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc eponymously named Chateau Ambe Tour Pourret.
We were not offered any water, taste breakers or any other variety. A very poor representation of even a half way decent Bordeaux. Another waste of time.
