点评：You can have a love hate relationship with this trail. When you start it is all doswn hill. Remember that makes it all up hill coming back..You can access the bride from a different trail over by the Roosevelt Tower area that is pretty flat but is longer. The views are great and you can go pretty far into nowhere so read your map and plan. The loop down low is not a loop currently due to 2022 flood damage hopefully better for 2024. We have done this one before but this time ran into some buffalo the di not have an interest in getting off trail and were no in a good mood. Ran into a few people who delighted in telling us they had to "bushwhack" through stall grass to get around. Was bear sign but we did not see them. We saw several folks who thought it was and easy trail like the flat loo and some quit half way down. We saw a couple starting to climb out when we were at the bridge going out. They had jus backed out of the lot when we got back and we are not power hikers by any means. Take water and a snack as sun hits these open areas intensely October is brilliant time to go rather that July
