Majestic Whale Encounters的点评
点评：This was my second trip with Majestic, and it will absolutely not be my last. Carmen and Sarah are fantastic from start to finish, and I love how committed Majestic is to the welfare of whales, all over the world.
This trip was from Tromso, in northern Norway, on a converted research boat called the R/V Kinfish, and was conducted in partnership with Hey Orca.
The experience on the boat was fantastic! It only takes 12 guests, so it's all very friendly and close. The food (courtesy of chef Pieter) was outstanding, and the entire crew are extremely helpful and kind. The two guides from Hey Orca, Jeppe and Asbjorn, were also brilliant. Extremely well informed, passionate about the wildlife, supportive during the activities, and also just pretty fun to be around.
In terms of the activities, we went out in the zodiacs almost every day (apart from one day with truly terrible weather), and had multiple opportunities to get in the water with the orca each day. We also lucked out, and had one of the most incredible experiences - more than 400 orca all in one spot for a huge bait ball! And on top of that, saw the northern lights too!
I also did the extra 2-day add on, which included seeing reindeer, going dog sledding and a bunch of other activities out of Tromso, which I totally recommend.
This was genuinely one of the best trips I've ever done, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
