Not every day at Jungle Jim's is a good customer experience.

点评：First of all I should say I have really enjoyed shopping at Jungle Jim's, particularly at the Eastgate location, where I have frequented the store once or twice a week over the past year and a half. However, my recent experiences have prompted me to reconsider my visits. My concerns primarily revolve around interactions with the front-end management.
During my last visit, I encountered a manager who raised a flat hand towards me while I was attempting to clarify a price I had observed on a product. It was unclear whether this gesture was intended to convey understanding or to dismiss my inquiry due to their urgency. Regardless of the intention, it came across as rude.
On another occasion, I began a transaction with an item that lacked a price tag, requiring the cashier to summon a manager. After providing a price, the manager walked away. I was also interested in purchasing some zero sugar A&W sodas. The promotional sign indicated a sale on 7Up (both regular and zero), A&W root beer, and Sunkist for $2.99 per six-pack of 16 oz bottles. at the bottom of the sign it said these flavors only. The sign did not specify any exclusions for the zero versions of A&W or Sunkist, which would be unusual for soda promotions. I have never run across a sale on sodas that didn't include all flavors or variations.
When the same manager was called back, it was evident that the cashier was not pleased with the situation. The manager informed me that the sale had an unusual stipulation, excluding the zero versions of A&W and Sunkist while including the regular ones. This left me wondering if customers are expected to decipher the wording of the sign? After confirming that the sodas would be priced at $5.49 each, I decided against purchasing them and left the store. However, I returned shortly after, having reviewed the photo I took of the sign. I have learned to document such instances due to previous discrepancies in pricing, especially with sale items.
Upon my return to the store, I approached customer service to inquire once more about the sign, presenting a photo of it to the employee. This prompted them to contact a manager for clarification regarding the product. The individual they consulted indicated that it might be an "old sign" and assured that the price would be honored. However, shortly thereafter, the customer service employee received a call from the original manager, stating that they would not honor the price displayed on the sign. At that moment, the manager I had previously interacted with regarding the soda purchase arrived at the service desk, commenting that someone had created a "Bad sign" and that the item was not priced as indicated in the main aisle. Throughout this experience, I encountered three different explanations concerning the pricing on the sign? As the manager departed, I remarked that this seemed like deceptive advertising, but she did not respond. Therefore, I would advise anyone shopping at this Jungle Jim's location to always verify that the prices on the signs match what is charged at the register. Additionally, it may be wise to approach the signs with skepticism, as they appear to have bad ones?
