It's a mini field trip going to Jungle Jim's

点评：I've heard about Jungle Jim's but never thought I'd be interested, after all it's a market on steroids, and I'm not a fan of shopping. My husband and I decided to make a trip to Jungle Jim's just to check it out, and it wasn't too bad. We stopped at the Eastgate location for this trip. The kitchenware section was our first stop right after walking into the store, and we did find a few gadgets we've been wanting. The set up wasn't fancy or too crazy. The utensils, and kitchen gadgets seem to be of decent quality for the price, and you're bound to find something you're looking for.
The store has all kinds of products from different parts of the world, Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Everything was organized pretty well, despite quite a few empty shelf spaces.
I was able to find snacks I remembered from living in England, and items that are better because they don't have the bad stuff the American versions have. I was pleasantly surprised to find Julio's corn tortilla chips at Jungle Jim's since the chips are from the small Texas town I grew up in. Julio's aren't the well-known name brand or carried in many markets outside of Texas. I did notice the guaranteed fresh date on many of the bags were past due. With that in mind, just double check your products for the dates.
It wasn't easy for us to find the cashier when it was time to check out, but we found one after walking around the displays of snacks, and candy.
If you're looking for international goods or just looking for things from other parts of the country, you should be able to find it at Jungle Jim's. The Fairfield location will be our next trip to Jungle Jim's just for comparison.
