Great for a day in the sun
Port Stanley Main Beach的点评
点评：Beautiful beach, a bit crowded the day we were here, with some fat moons on display, walking towards the cars, which was a shocker bearing in mind the beach is packed with families with small children/babies:
- you can walk on their thoughtful path in order to protect your feet from the hot sand, overseen by life guards
- unfortunately large, noisy families seem to congregate here too, that is why I prefer choosing quieter provincial parks where you pay more for this
- big car park, however in high demand and a bit expensive (if you do not like the area you can always go to the little beach where you ticked is accepted; little beach is truly small)
- nearby units ready for the summer, looking great too, tell you this area is booming and business is in demand, even more than other areas near the lake
- sand is not super great and the water can be warm and very clean depending if there are no storms, so you cannot ask much bearing in mind that you might come here for a day and not a 10 days holiday
- several places to eat on the cheap nearby as well as 'shack style' beach items to buy for the children
