点评：Today we went to three lovely wineries, Josef Chromy, Clover Hill and Loira Vines. All different, all lovely, but my favourite was Loira Vines.
I had a good impression even before we got there, with much attention to detail and care shown by Mirabai who messaged me a few times in regards to one of our party having an allergy. I really appreciated this care.
Mirabai and her husband treated us as valued guests . It is a small winery but with a big heart. Sitting on the covered verandah was very relaxing and attractive with a pond in front snd vineyards at the back. There were lovely roses in the front garden.
My husband had a wine tasting and was offered about ten different wines, cider, beer and gin, all for $20. The other two wineries had less wines to taste, and one of them was $25pp. My husband liked these wines more than at the other two places. He especially liked the cider, the Chardonnay and the pinot noir. Mirabai’s husband was very good at explaining how he’d made the wines . (He meant to buy some of your bottles of cider but forgot as we left. He’s now disappointed he forgot as he really liked it).
The platter was simply amazing. A huge variety of food. And every item on it was delicious. I’ve never seen such a wonderful looking, and tasting, platter. Mirabai and her husband are very generous and friendly people, assisted by two other lovely ladies including Mirabai’s mother.
Going there was a wonderful way to end a lovely day.
