Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb的点评
点评：Went in our vintage Riley to a Classic Gathering on Sunday 21 July. Tickets cost £30. Never been to Shelsley before. Arrived at about 10am to find a queue at least a mile long, and informed it would take at least an hour to get entry. Had to return round and go home as car will not out up with constant crawling.
Another colleague in a vintage car- luckily equipped with an electric fan - says he took 90 minutes to get in, and that the organisation was chaotic.
Moral is- if you are in the least bit impatient, avoid Shelsley. Otherwise, take a tent and camp there the night before, or get up at 4am and arrive more than early.
After 100 (?) years of operation, one would think the "organisers" would get their act together. Do not get them to organise your party in a brewery!
