Great cycling tour of the Western Front

点评：Spectacular bike ride from Amiens to Brugge. Learned so much about the history of WW1, especially the huge sacrifices made by everyone involved, from soldiers to the locals. Good accomodation along the way, no frills but all our needs were well met.
Especially loved the beauty of rural Belgium and France. Vimy ridge was challenging cycling in parts due to a vicious headwind, but a must do. The Carriere Wellington museum in Arras is well worth visiting as it has strong links to NZ and the Commonwealth, the tunnels remain poignant reminders of this connection. We were well briefed at the start of the bike ride, had good comfortable bikes- one e bike and one hybrid bike- no problems along the way and our bags were delivered without a hitch. Huge thanks to all of the friendly staff involved.
