Excellent Balloon Flight. Only 1 cancellation. But, disappointed the take-off site changed

点评：Went on Balloon flight yesterday, taking off from Petworth. Was supposed to be Alton, but due to weather, was moved. A bit disappointing as one of the points of doing a flight, is to do it over an area you know, with landmarks that are familiar. However, I won't mark it down because of this. The whole experience was excellent, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Chris was the Pilot, very nice guy, pointing out random things on the flight (Brighton, Bognor, Isle of Wight), neither that I could see because of the haze :-)
The only thing about Ballooning is it is so weather dependant, we managed to get on at the second attempt though, so I think we were lucky. Be prepared for an early morning, as the booking was moved from Alton to Petworth, we had an hours drive and so had to get up at 4am to be there for 5:15am. Not a big issue though.
£20 at the end to buy the photos taken from the go-pro hanging from the Balloon, disappointed that there was only two videos and not one of the take off as promised.
However, all in all HIGHLY recommended, excellent experience. Would EASILY be a 5 if it hadn't moved to Petworth, and the cost of the photos and videos wasn't so steep.
The flight latest an hour. But, from arriving at 5:15am, we didn't leave until 10:30ish. There's obviously travel between landing/take-off sites, setup time, put away and a glass of Prosecco at the end (a light snack, perhaps a pastry would have been good, due to the early start no-one has time to get any breakfast).
One last point, I am scared of heights stood on a chair, this is so different. Don't exclude yourself from doing this because you're scared of heights, it's so different. ITs very peaceful and quiet.
