Virgin Balloon Flights - Wadhurst的点评
点评：Hubby had booked an am flight, and when we made the booking and because the balloon flights have to be early, we knew we needed to be at our take off site and probably leave home at 5am. Evening before they need you to call the booking line after 11pm. This is to check the flight is going and where it is going from, but Also if the weather is too bad and they have to cancel. Ours was going…. Yippee!! Meant we didn’t have a lot of sleep though as had to be at the Hop Farm by 5.30am. Ours changed from wadhurst to the hop Farm. Arrived early and you can help them get the balloon up if u want, and have to be ready to get in the basket very quickly when the balloon is fully inflated. Sections you stand in are quite narrow which made it a little challenging to get in using the footholds to go up one side and get in. Good idea to watch an online video but they do also provide information before as well. Fascinating to watch how they got the basket off the trailer and hire they blew up the balloon. Once we were off the ground, it was AMAZING one of the best things that I have ever experienced. Very quiet when the flame burner was not on as didn’t need to be on continually as we flew. Time in air 60 minutes. Seated position to land Ava it is not back to where we started. whilst the literature provided does tell you that landings can be bumpy, ours was three bumps and a little drag along the ground, but we got down safely and were able to get out. With Virgin balloon flights and whether this is the case for all of them, they ask you to help them pack the balloon back up!! I did wonder at the start how they do it with only 3 men lol. Celebratory drink and a certificate provided and the photos taken in the basket available to purchase on the day but also before hand. Lift back to the starting point and ask done by 8.45am
