Excellent Place to Relax and Rejuvenate

点评：We had recently stayed in OM Boat at Guijan and had an excellent experience. First of all, Mr. Prassanna Das and his son Mr. Dipak Das are excellent hosts and so also Mrs. Das. They make you feel at home.
Our 18-day Arunachal and Assam trip was managed by the highly reliable and acclaimed Mr. Karun Roy (+918787614812). He had earlier also managed our 12 days tour of Arunachal in 2021 and drove us through the State. This time, he sent his most trusted driver, Mr. Jeetu Gogoi (+91 8011708452) who was a life saver for us when we stuck in 11ft snow in Myodia and life came to a standstill for 3-4 days in Anini area.
We arrived at about 1:30PM driving from Roing in Arunachal and had ordered our lunch over phone. The fabulous lunch was ready when we arrived and hosts also had their lunch with us and shared their homemade food with us. Mr. Das guarantees different types of fish in every meal we had. Their Guest house (new spacious rooms in the first floor of the building) is very good and after lunch, they allocated one room for us to take rest after the long drive. At about 5PM, they drove us to the nearby jetty from where their boat will take us to the mid point of the river where the "Sand Char" has developed (in rainy season the same gets submerged). A large boat with rooms (attached toilet) was awaiting us where we would spend our night. First, they make camp fire with good amount of wood and arrange chairs for us to enjoy the camp fire and go on serving various starters - veg, potato fingers, dry chicken, fish chops / fries, prawn fries, etc. The tea is also served along with the starters. The dinner at about 9:30PM was elaborate - rice, roti, daal, sabji, chicken, fish, etc. They simply pamper you with choices. After dinner, we retired to the room to rest. Next morning, they provide tea and then they take the boat for a short sight seeing of birds and Dolphins (about 1 to 1.5 hours). After the boating, we came back to the Guest House to have breakfast. The breakfast has choice of Bread/butter/egg/Puri/Sabji etc.
The experience was superb. Next day we planned to visit Maguree beel to see birds but it started raining. Mr. Das suggest to visit the nearby village where we can see the Hillock Gibbons who have befriended human beings. It was a good experience. We enjoyed every bit of our stay. Spending 2 days was really enjoyable. We wanted to visit Dibru Saikhowa as well as Dehing Patkai but Mr. Das suggested that the weather is not good to have great experience and suggested some other time to visit. We enjoyed every bit of our stay. The homely experience was superb. They go all out to help you in all kinds of situations. We wanted to buy some tea bush furniture and Mr. das suggested a place which we found really very good and reasonable.
