点评:Sat 13th Jan went to see Edwina Hayes & Emily Slade. They were very good but it was spoilt by the fact me & my friends were on back row & couldn't see past the people in front which spoilt the whole performance for us. As my husband had booked the back row to see Keith James 14th Feb I called in to change to seats to avoid the same situation. Whilst I could change seats I was informed it would cost £5 per ticket? There, as far as I could see, no mention of this in the booking foyer nor on the website. Whilst the assistant (volunteer) was sympathetic & understood the back row seats were an issue, despite going to see the duty mng 3 times was told nothing could be done. I was surprised the mng didn't actually take the time to pop out herself & explain. I asked to speak to her but was told she was busy? Obviously customer service not a high priority? I asked for her email address & was given a domain but unfortunately it would not connect. I then rang the theatre & was told they had discussed the situation & would I pay just £5 for both tickets. I agreed & had to return to theatre to action this when it could have been resolved in the first instance. The lady in the booking office was so helpful but it was out of her control. I think people need to be aware of the seat change cost as there is nothing in the foyer that's warns you of this cost nor the website. I am writing this to make people aware of the issue with the back row when you are small. The assistant said my concerns had been noted. The theatre itself is wonderful as are most productions. It's just maybe paid management team need to be aware too.
