Grutas Tolantongo的点评
点评：It was our second trip to Grutas Tolantongo. It’s an amazing- out of this world place. No photo you see can really describe this place. o
I recommend you spend one and a half day on the park, being half day by the pools (pozas) and one day by the river/waterfall. Although the pozas are more well known, the river and waterfall is the real fun.
First trip we slept out of the park, this time we slept in the park hotel thinking we could enjoy the pozas in the night, but it’s just too cold (January). We prefer the hotel in Cardonal, as it it is half price and have more amenities.
The food in the park is simple, but good and cheap. Plates range from $95 pesos to $220 pesos. Beer is $40 pesos.
Bring water shoes, cash, cell phone pouch, be careful to not loose things in the waterfall (my hubby lost his wedding ring : ( )
