点评：Newton House, set amongst the rolling greenery of Dinefwr Park, is a charming national trust property. Part country seat, part a complex of servants quarters and housing several exhibition spaces and reading nooks, it is a spacious and airy property.
Special mention must go firstly to Ronnie on the front desk. Not only was she lively and lovely, she also made the historical costumes for guests to gaze upon or dress up in. Including historical fashions such as frock coats and sackbacks with excellently executed pleating and attention to detail. Second mention must go to Rhys. Not only was he incredibly friendly and sweet, he also was brimming with enthusiasm and effectively gave us a guided tour of the property. He would tell us about a historical fact or detail and then mention something else interesting in passing and would offer to show us. He was so impressive in his knowledge and just how lovely and friendly he was. Ronnie and Rhys demonstrate what passionate and lovely people the Nat Trust can attract and I hope the Trust values and pays them enough to retain them. Whilst the property is nice, it would be an empty husk without the dedicated and wonderful staff.
