点评：The Kali River is also called as Kaali Nadi. The River rises near Kushavali, a small village in Uttar Kannada district and runs 184 kilometers before joining Arabian Sea.
This river gets its name from its color, dark with silt that it carriers, rich in iron ore and other minerals and also due to the sediments of the deep dense forests. it flows through a rough of the Western Ghats.
Tourists on trip to Dandeli town are first prefer to have Rappelling and Boating in Kali River before exploring any other spots. We also planned our itinerary in the same fashion. We rushed in the morning towards Dandeli rappelling point and enjoyed in the river up to lunch time. This place is the best place for Rappelling in South India. Upon reaching the site, one can get the chance to see birds while boating/Rappelling.
