Superb Spot for Photos
Reflection Lakes的点评
点评：This lovely destination that was just a few miles from Paradise, is named for the Lakes that reflect views of Mount Rainier. There are sub-alpine meadows around the lake, and they are protected by not allowing the hikers to trample on them. Boating and Fishing is also not permitted.
The setting was very serene. We had the perfect afternoon light with a very light breeze, so we could see the majestic mountain reflected in the crystal-clear waters. We captured some great photos but still felt that the pictures could not do justice to what our eyes were seeing. Surprisingly, there was quite a bot of snow on the lakes as well as on the banks – enough snow close enough to reach out over the fence and make snowballs.
The area was very accessible by car. The low wall and the plaques to read were close by to our parking spot. Right across was the lovely Stevens Canyon with the deep valleys and massive trees. What a perfect viewing spot right in the heart of Mount Rainier National Park.
