点评：Great trip. We arrived at approximately 9 am and made our way towards the entrance of the trail. The parking lot was quite spacious and there were plenty of places to park. We opted to hike the Gorge Overlook Loop via Buckeye Trail, which was a roughly 6.2 mile loop trail around the park. We were able to view Cedar Falls and Old Man’s Cave on this route. The trail was moderate in nature and consisted of walking on an uneven dirt surface for a majority of the walk. The trail took us through a forest and we were able to enjoy gorgeous scenic views of several towering cliffs, multiple caves and waterfalls, a lake and various rock formations. The trail contained numerous sets of stairs and was quite uneven and rocky at times. There were several informational plaques on the trail, that detailed the history of the area. The midway point of the hike contained the visitors center, which we stopped at for a quick bathroom break. The only downside to this hike was there was only a small trickle of water where the waterfalls usually were, due to recent droughts in the area. .
