Easy to get to Santa Barbara cenotes but a nightmare to get back to town

点评：Santa Barbara is a complex of four beautiful cenotes in an extraordinary setting. We went from Merida and the public van called Combi left is right in front of the complex. Very easy to get there. We were told it would be plenty of moto taxis to get back to the town to pick up the company to Merida, however when we left at 1:00 p.m. it was no moto taxi around, none at 2:00 p.m. and zero @ 3:00 p.m.
Finally, I gave a tip to one of the employees to call someone to take me back to town and that's how I solve the problem. Don't believe for a minute that there is a lot of motor taxes waiting for tourists outside Santa Barbara because there are none. I recommend you hook up a tour of the cenotes at Santa Barbara so at least you know for sure you can get back to town. I was very impressed with the Cenotes but not at all with the infrastructure of the place.
