Amazing experience, not to be missed!

点评：We visited as a young couple on holiday in the area. We travelled from Torreblanca and took the train 2 stops into Fuengirola station and walked the rest of the journey.
It took around 10 minutes to walk from the station to the zoo.
We really enjoyed our visit! The animals were beautiful and the exhibits looked amazing.
A highlight for us was the lemur walk through exhibit. A tour guide taught us about the lemurs- he spoke in Spanish and English which was really helpful. He was very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions from guests. We got very close to the lemurs and they were amazing to see close up.
We ate lunch in the small quick service next the gift shop. We ordered two children's chicken nuggets and chips meals. This was much better value than ordering adult meals and the portion sizes were more than enough for us- I would recommend saving your pennies and ordering kids meals or sharing an adult portion. Kids meals came with a soft drink and dessert (strawberry yoghurt pot) included. They also came with a small surprise toy! We paid under 10 euro per kids meal. Bargain!
We paid extra to attend the VR submersible experience. This was fascinating! We paid 5 euro each (on top of our entry price ticket which we bought at the gate on the day) and were given a time slot to return. You are guided into a small room and the instructions are given in multiple languages (including English). The technology and information on this VR experience was amazing. It is absolutely worth the extra charge, a must-see attraction!
It took us all day to walk around the zoo and look at all exhibits. The museum located near the back about Christopher Columbus was also fascinating and had a breathtaking aquarium.
I would absolutely recommend this zoo and I have persuaded my parents to visit when they go on holiday to Fuengirola this Autumn.
