Diamond Head Luau的点评
点评：It was our first time in Hawaii and first Lu'au. We were so glad we picked the right one.
First of all, the scenery was beautiful with our backdrop being the ocean and we can see Diamond Head behind the trees. The open environment was very fitting for such event. However, because of that, it was also very windy, out napkins and plates were always at risk of being blown away.
Regarding the food, it was a chilled feast where you can use your coupon ticket to eat from every stall from the local eateries, which were all super delicious. However, because the food is prepped in portions and laid out, the food were not as hot or "fresh" as we'd like, especially the fish which we thought was kind of smelly. We also could had used more time to eat as well. I felt that we were trying to stuff food down before the stalls were closed and cleaned up, thus rendering us unable to eat all the food that we paid for.
The cultural activities and performance were fun. However, because this is during the dinner time, we didn't have a lot of chances to do them all. The performers were dressed beautifully and super friendly. After dinner time was the show and it was the highlight of the whole Lu'au. The music was beautiful, the MC and performers were funny, energetic, and truly serious about what they do. We enjoyed he show and we're able to take some pictures with them afterward. Super cool.
