Lots of kids jumping in throughout the slow lane. Impossible to get a swim.

点评：I'm amazed that there aren't any casualties in the main pool. The slow lane was packed with kids, jumping in all the way down the lane and the shallow end was teeming. It was impossible to get a swim in it and as I suffer from cramp (which came on after just 10 minutes in the pool) I need to be near the side so that I can hold on if necessary. I had checked online that it was supposed to be for slow lane swimming at the time I was there. I also noticed that nobody was wearing a swimming cap, and although I didn't come across stray hairs there must have been some in the water.
The area immediately beside the slow lane was chocka with shoes - mainly Crocs-style. You can't see the steps as you get into the pool, although they are there, etched into the side. Changing lanes necessitates diving under the water. The divisions are hard metal and sit on the surface of the water - you can't lift them. The final two lanes were for classes and the teaching pool was busy with lessons.
I tried several of the changing booths before I found one that locked. You need 20p if you want to secure a locker. I noticed that most people don't bother to pay and just leave their clothes unprotected.
The floor of the changing rooms didn't look too clean and the toilets smelled. I won't be returning.
