Overrated. Screaming motorbikes till 3 or 4am every night. Decent markets and food court with decent Penang cuisine.
巴都丁宜海滩的点评
点评：As part of our 10 day M’sia trip following KL and Georgetown, out of curiosity we finished the trip with 2 nights at BF - upon reflection one probably needs to stay on the ocean facing apartments to potentially minimise the ridiculous loud screaming motorbikes (and strangely, a convoy of Lamborghini’s!) that use the main road through BF as a racetrack till 4am when traffic thins after midnight. We therefore could not sleep.
The beach itself was clean enough, but aside from water sports there wasn’t much kids could do eg just go for a swim thanks to the jellyfish warnings (to be fair we knew this, so we made sure our stay had a nice pool, which it did). The fire show at the beach was good, so at least something good came out of our stay here.
Food wise, the food court was quite clean and well run, but the food was a mixed bag and definitely wasn’t any better than Georgetown.
Open reflection, we wished we just did a day trip to BF to check out what it was like, and instead enjoyed Georgetown for it had so much more to offer from food to heritage sights etc (we made sure again that there was a nice pool at our stay, to cool off the high humidity).
BF being at the other side of the island to the Bayan Lepas airport was also an unfortunate planning error, for we had to leave really early (6am) to beat the peak hour traffic to the airport.
So if you’re thinking of BF, at best it could be a day trip from Georgetown - if you’re after a resort beach experience invest in time and money at Langkawi instead.

回想起来，真希望我们只是去巴彦淖尔岛一日游，看看那里是什么样子，而不是去乔治城，因为那里有太多值得一看的地方，从美食到文化遗产等等（我们再次确认了我们住的地方有一个漂亮的游泳池，可以缓解潮湿的空气）。
巴彦淖尔岛位于岛的另一边，距离峇六拜机场很远，这也是一个不幸的计划失误，因为我们不得不很早就出发（早上6点），以避开前往机场的交通高峰。
所以，如果你想去巴彦淖尔岛，最好是从乔治城出发一日游——如果你想体验度假海滩的乐趣，那就把时间和金钱都花在兰卡威吧。
