Our 10 days on safari with Chideri were far more than a holiday — they were a journey of connection, laughter, and learning. From the moment we met Chideri In Mombasa , we felt completely at ease. His friendliness, professionalism, and deep respect for the land and its animals set the tone for what became one of the most memorable travel experiences of our lives.
Every day, he guided us through the wild beauty of Kenya from Tsavo east, West, and Amboseli with such care, knowledge, and humour. He seemed to know the rhythm of the land — every track, bird call, and movement in the grass had a story. My 12-year-old son adored him, and by the end of the trip, Chideri felt like family. Saying goodbye was unexpectedly emotional; we all missed him deeply, and the other “land pilots” (game drives) we met later on our trip just couldn’t compare. We saw everything we wanted to see and then some... the ugly five being of great amusement to my Son.
